The Saskatchewan Wheat Pool has reached tentative collective agreements with the union that represents 700 of its employees.

Deals were reached Thursday to renew two collective agreements affecting about 550 operations and maintenance staff across the province as well as 150 employees in the wheat pool's Regina head office.

The members, who are part of the Grain Services Union, will vote on the proposed contract in ratification meetings starting April 16. The ratification process is expected to be complete by April 26.
