Poll shows lack of momentum for PCs in Manitoba election

A new poll measures the momentum of the three main parties. The Tories had a momentum of minus 17 percent meaning that 17 percent more have a less favorable view of the party now than a more favorable view. THe NDP had a momentum of minus 4 while the Liberals had a plus 1 momentum. No party was able to create any surge in favorable attitudes during the campaign.

The entire poll is at the Winnipeg Free Press site.

The new poll would seem to confirm an earlier poll that suggests the NDP is likely to win again. However, the NDP will need to make sure that it gets its supporters out. A low turnout would probably favor the Conservatives.
